The 12x50 PowerView Binoculars from Bushnell are general purpose Porro prism binoculars featuring multicoated optics and a unique InstaFocus lever. Instead of a conventional focus wheel, which can be difficult to grip while wearing winter gloves, Bushnell's InstaFocus system permits quick and easy focusing by pressing on a lever located between the lens barrels. A Porro prism design allows the PowerView binoculars to display lifelike depth of field. Additionally, its 12x magnification and built-in 1/4"-20 threaded mount for a tripod adapter are especially useful for nature observations.

What does 267' @ 1000yds mean?
This give you an idea of how wide an angle the view is. Looking at a scene that is at distance of 1000 yards, the field of view is 267 feed. The description of the field of view says Wide 68 Apparent Angle of View. This is a typo. 6.8 degrees is still an exaggeration but certainly not 68 degrees. I have a set of Jason Binoculars that are extra wide angle which has an apparent angle of view of 11 degrees and puts the performance at 578 feet 1000 yards. The Celestron are not wide angle at all at only 267' which works out to 5 degree angle of view.

What are the dimensions of the 12x50? How long are the lenses and how wide are they when laying flat?
They are about 7 long, 8 wide (flat), and 2-1/2 thick. They fit in their soft case which is 7 x 7 x 2-1/2 inside.
