Finally warm hands and fingers for winter shooting - starts with a base layer

I contacted a rep at Vallerret to share my use case for winter gloves as a photographer, and they recommended starting with layering with the Vallerret Power Stretch Pro Liner and then adding the Vallerret Tinden Gloves and the Vallerret Alta Arctic Mitt. Hence, I purchased as part of a 3-piece glove set. I love the setup where you can wear these mitts around your neck and connect them so as not to get up and leave them or drop them behind, especially when keeping an eye on your photo gear. The base layer pro liner was a great starter under the Tinden Gloves, which give the ability to flip tips and if needed to operate your gear. I was able to shoot in manual mode with my tips covered in the gloves. Standing around in the wintry cold, waiting between reenactment events or on landscape shoots in temperatures under 30 and as recently as Friday, under 10 degrees Fahrenheit. They performed, slipped my gloved hands into the mitt for extra warmth in the freezing temps. A worthwhile expenditure if you are out in the cold for any length of time.

I added these to Vallerret Markhof gloves to try to get a little more warmth out of them. It does work but putting the Markhofs over the liner gloves takes more time and some tugging to get everything to fit. Gloves with a tight wrist like the Markhof make it difficult to get over the liner. But it does gain me the ability to shoot around 15-20° F. Without the liner, my fingers get cold fast with the Markhofs. I would recommend these with a warmer glove if you shoot below freezing often. I don't recommend the Markhof without a liner unless you're around 30-40°,

I measure between a medium and large. I want to ...
I measure between a medium and large. I want to wear them under my Markhof V2 gloves and purchased large because I heard they run small and they are just large enough. Should I get a large in these liners or go with the sizing chart and get mediums?
It would be best to get the Power Stretch Pro Liner in the large size.

The way to Measure what side you need for the Vallerret Power Stretch Pro Liner Photography Gloves (Large, Black)
1) Measure around the widest part of your hand with a relaxed open palm.
2) Measure form the base of your hand, to the tip of your middle finger.
