The R6120 AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Router with EX6110 Wi-Fi Range Extender from Netgear is engineered to provide your home with fast wireless network and internet access. The R6120 supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) protocol, and provides a total throughput of 1200 Mb/s. That's 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. Having dual bands helps to provide a stable and fast connection to multiple devices. Each band gives multiple devices simultaneous network and internet access without overlap or interference.

With the addition of the EX6110 Wi-Fi range extender, you can extend the coverage of the R6120 router over a larger area. The extender plugs directly into any available AC outlet and utilizes an array of internal antennas to provide network access for your devices. You can use the smart LEDs built into the extender, or Netgear's WiFi Analytics app, to test your signal strength to determine the best location for the extender.

In addition to wireless network access, the R6120 router provides 4 x 10/100 Mb/s LAN ports for wired connection of desktops, laptops, and other devices. There's also a USB 2.0 port to allow for access to an (optional) external hard drive.
