The Kase 82mm Wolverine Magnetic Stack Cap Set consists of top and bottom magnetic steel caps for nonthreaded Kase Wolverine magnetic filters designed to be used on a lens with 82mm front filter threads. These caps can protect compatible filters from dust, scratches, and fingerprints while removed from a lens. Additionally, these caps can enable a more streamlined system for storing and carrying your filters by allowing multiple magnetic filters to be stacked on each other, with the caps at the top and bottom of the stack.

Kase KW-MSC Reviews
A cap set is a must have from Kase
This magnetic cap set is a must for the Kase filter set. When you want to keep a filter or stack of filters close by, this cap set keeps the front and back of your filters safe so you can slide them into a pocket without worry.
A bit loose, but SUPER compact filter storage
I use the stack caps with my Kase CPL and a single ND filter. It works great, and both halves are magnetic which I wasn't sure about when I first ordered (it looked like the back might need to be threaded to a Kase adapter, but nope). If I am just storing the CPL the cap sits super securely, but any filters/caps put onto the ND don't sit as deep and can slide off with a pretty small amount of force. The ND just doesn't have as deep of a lip around the magnetic surface. I throw a rubberband around mine just in case. However, these downsides are no issue to me since this system is so much more convenient and compact than other filter solutions and that's exactly why I wanted it. I would absolutely recommend all of Kase's filters/caps if you are not worried about vignetting and have a way of ensuring the caps won't get knocked off. For me it was the perfect solution.
