Using this for editing on Capture One from a Fuji 100s camera. Quality is top notch as you would expect. Also enjoy the included hood.

Much larger than I expected it to be based on my 28 but not at all disappointed, just know a few inches can make a big difference. I have only had it on for a couple hours max but the colors and sharpness is absolutely amazing. I will not be leaving my old screen up as a second as picture looks so bad compared to this new one. I cant wait to play with it more and fine tune. But I should have ordered before now.

Poor quality. Doesn't profile properly. BenQ is no help.

I bought this display based upon the reviews, which were positive. The display arrived and it did not work, right out of the box. BenQ replaced it, but the replacement has such wild color shifts that it won't stay profiled and BenQ's idea of support is emailing youtube video links about a guy reviewing the display. They say the problem is Apple's (I'm using it with a Mac Studio) but are resistant to do anything other than suggesting I call Apple. I have used LG's and never had these types of issues or such poor support. Even if this is caused my Mac OS Monterey or it is an M1 issue, I would have hoped BenQ would have made some effort to troubleshoot whatever is causing the display to fall out of gamut within an hour of profiling it, or putting the Mac to sleep, or restarting.

Great Monitor, glad I got it!

I read the recommendations and reviews online and the BenQ SW321C 32 16:9 4K HDR IPS Photo and Video Editing Monitor seemed to be the most highly rated of any of the monitors I could afford or wanted to afford. I was a little worried it would not fit on my desk at first (before it arrived) even though I measured the best I could. This is replacing a good, older photo editing monitor that was 27 inches diagonal (the Ben Q, I believe, is 31.5 diagonal.) With the monitor hood and bezel it takes up even more room. The good news it with a little rearranging, it fit and I couldn't be happier. I had to make my Apple dock and icons size smaller than before due to the size of the monitor, but no big problem. The most important thing to consider with this monitor seems to be the color management capabilities, which I have not had a chance to test, because the Ben Q Master Palette software, for calibrating the monitor, likes to be the only monitor calibrating software on an individual computer. I am getting a new Mac Studio so I will wait to install the software on that rather than my older Late 2013 Mac Pro Cylinder which I am using now. The monitor works great on the Cylinder and seems like a decent calibration right out of the box. Since I have an ancient ColorMunki colorimeter that the Ben Q software still supports, I will try that when I get the Mac Studio. Otherwise I will need to get a new ColorBrite Colorchecker Pro colorimeter. The calibration process of this monitor is still a little bit of an unknown, but seems easy enough from the videos I've watched, and being a hardware calibrated monitor, it should calibrate nicely. It doesn't have a webcam, but I have added one attached to and articulated arm, that is clamped to the handle of the stand. Same goes for a little LED light. I'm very happy with this monitor and so far so good. I hope it calibrates as well and as easily as they say in the videos. I have had experience color calibrating monitors before, so the concepts and language are familiar to me, so I think I'll be okay. Again very happy so far!

Superb!

Really enjoying this monitor

I am really happy with this monitor after using it for over a month. The matte finish does a great job eliminating glare with or without the shade hood. The shade hood is a nice included add-on. The consistent edge to edge, very sharp, even color image is the best I've seen on any monitor. I moved from using a 27 iMac to using this monitor with an M1 Macbook and it's working great. I am really enjoying seeing and editing my photos on such a large monitor. But it's also great for day to day computer use and even watching videos. It's really easy on the eyes. I have no regrets at all with my purchase. FYI - As some reviewers have noted, it comes very well protected in a large long box which is best handled by two people, which may be why for some unexplained reason Fedex made me come to a local facility to pick it up instead of delivering it to my house.

This is a great monitor.

I read many customer reviews on BenQ monitors, and the negative ones were almost enough to scare me away, but I purchased the SW321C 32 inch monitor on the basis of professional reviews on line and on YouTube. I've used it for two weeks and have found it to be working as advertised. One concern was dead pixels, but I have found none on careful examination. I was also concerned that the screen size would not match up well with my 27 inch monitor, making it awkward to use both, but they are both easy to use side by side. I was able to easily adjust the text size so that they would match on both monitors, which was another concern. I've never seen a box that was so intricate and so well made used to protect a product shipped to me, if that's any indication of the care the company has put into making and protecting this monitor. I'm very happy with it.

My best monitors ever

No more fooling around with wannabe photographer's monitors, this is the real deal. The hardware calibration is rock solid, plus it's nice to have quick access to other color modes at the touch of a button for quick checks in other spaces, or editing in other working spaces for video. Plus (and I say this after years of working with a lot of consumer electronics), I have never seen anything packed so well.

I have both an NEC PA301W and this BenQ SW321C. This BenQ runs at an almost ambient temperature, WAY COOLER than the NEC. In fact, I've closed off the heat vents in my office room, since it's heated by NEC. (I'm in New York.)

You can use a thunderbolt 3.0 or USB-C 3.1 Docking Station with multiple display port outputs and the required cables for the monitors. The Dell D3100 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Docking Station (DED3100), would get the job done.

Can someone please confirm the depth dimension in the stand? Above it says 223.6 (8.8"). But I've read 13.4" elsewhere. My desk is not very deep, but I was really sold on this monitor.
Asked by: Ann
From the rear of the base to monitor face I measure 8.2". The base itself measures 11.3 deep x 15.7" wide. So that leaves about 3.1" of base in front of the monitor face. I'm using mine on a 28" deep desk and the screen is at about 22 to 24" from my eyes, not a problem.
