If you have a UV or other filter attached to your lens DO NOT us this without removing any other filters that may be attached to the lens. If you screw this adapter on a lens that has any other filter already attached, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE to remove that filter from this adapter. I really don't know how to rate this. The adapter works and is well made and I have many NiSi filters/holders and adapters but clearly this should be a warning somewhere.

The NiSi 82mm step-up ring is light in weight, easy to attach to lens, and well fit to NiSi 150mm filter holder kit. More than that is its inner screw can accept a 77-82mm step ring, so that this 82mm step-up ring can also be used for Canon 70-200mm 77mm diameter lens, in addition to work for Sigma 14mm Art lens and Canon 16-35mm 82mm diameter lens. In this way, one small step-up ring makes the 150mm filter kit be able to work for three different lenses, so that I like it very much and recommend it to all photographers.

I plan to get the S5 Sigma 20mm f1.4 system but wondered if this particular NiSi 77mm Filter Adapter Ring for S5 Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG Art Lens System will work w it should I use it on other lenses(?). Thanks in advance for any feedback and suggestions.
This adapter allows you to use a threaded 77mm filter with the S5 holder on the Sigma 14-24mm lens. To mount the S5 on other lenses you would need the mount for that lens.

I noticed for this 72mm converter kit that it says for “Sony 12-24”. But in the compatibility section it’s say “NiSi S5 150 mm”. So will this work on a Nisi S5 kit that is built for “Tamron 15-30mm”?

YES this will fit on the S5 filter holder.
NO this will not work directly on the Tamron 15-30.
