K&F Concept Nano-D Variable ND Filter with Multiresistant Coating (55mm, 3- to 11-Stop)
Key Features
  • Variable 0.3 to 33 Optical Density
  • 24-Layer Multicoating
  • Waterproof and Resistance Coating
  • Japanese Optical Glass Construction
This 3- to 11-Stop Nano-D Variable ND Filter with Multiresistant Coating from KF Concept is a 55mm variable neutral density filter that provides an adjustable light reduction of 3 to 11-stops. It darkens the entire image area evenly, allowing a photograph to be made with a slower shutter speed or wider aperture without overexposing the image. Slowing the shutter speed increases the exposure, making it possible to increase image blur to emphasize motion, as when shooting flowing water. Alternately, when increasing the aperture provides finer control over depth of field, useful when trying to isolate the subject. This adjustable filter is especially useful when shooting landscapes and in very bright light conditions, and it is useful for both still and video imaging.

Variable 3 to 11-Stops
This ND8-ND2000 variable neutral density filter has a filter factor range of 0.9 to 3.3, providing an exposure reduction from 3 to 11-stops. It can help add motion blur and reduce depth of field when shooting still images, and to select a proper frame rate when shooting video.
Japanese Optical Glass
The filter is made of Japanese AGC optical glass for the same high level of image quality as the lens it is used on.
Mulitresistant, Waterproof Coating
Both the front and rear surface of this filter feature a multiresistant coating that repels dust and grime and protects for fine abrasions. The coating is also waterproof and oil resistant, making it easy to use and keep clean, even in hard environments.
24-Layer Multicoating
The optical glass filter features a total 24 layers of multicoating for optimal light transmission and color saturation, without color shift.
Aircraft Grade Aluminum Alloy Filter Ring
The super lightweight CNC-machined filter ring is only 7.5mm thick, and it features a density scale for ease of use.

K&F Concept Nano-X Variable ND 3-11 Stops Reviews

its not 2000

In my case, I tried a 77mm. The guide marks did not correspond to the reduction steps. The reduction only occurred almost at the end of the brands. The reduction factor does not apply either. The test I did, goes slightly under 3 to 8 steps (actually 2.5 to 7.5 steps)

Just a warning

I bought this filter to use with a 24-105 lens. At the wider focal length you can't use the higher density of this filter. For example, at 24-50 you can't use the 3 darkest settings. Once you get over 75mm to 105mm then you can use the darker/darkest settings. Don't expect 11 stops of dark at 24mm. I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong or what but I've never seen this before.

I'm using a B&W 77mm KSM HTC polarizer. Will this filter thread on to my polarizer?
Asked by: Gary
Your B+W High-Transmission Circular Polarizer would have a front thread to accept another filter like the K&F Concept ND8-ND2000 Nano-X Variable ND Filter with Multi-Resistant Coating (77mm).
