Can you expand the length on the regular Magic Carpet? I know you can on the Pro, but I want to know if you can on this model.
No, unfortunately, the Syrp Magic Carpet 3.3' Medium Track with Carriage and End Caps Kit cannot be extended like the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Slider Kit with Extension (60"). It is possible to swap the track to something longer by opting for the Syrp Magic Carpet Long Track (5.2'). See the link below:

hello, does the end caps have 3/8" holes centred below or other size holes to mount them on a tripod ?
The Syrp Magic carpet slider has 1/4 20 and 3/8 connections on the slider rail that would allow you to attach tripods as support like in this image - https://bit.ly/3sLB0BP
