Will this work with 4 frame strips? Their website mentions down to 5. I have a bunch of old negatives that are strips of 4 frames. And do you know the length of the unit? That might have something to do with it. Thanks

The minimum amount of frames on each strip should be 5.

Usually 35mm is 24x36, but does it also allow for 24x65 which are the xpan negatives? It is strange that the specs do not mention this.

I contacted the manufacturer concerning your inquiry. They state that the Negative Supply Film Carrier MK1 is what they advice for scanning XPAN film. However, do note that you would be required to capture your XPAN negative in two (2) separate scans, then stitch the image together in your preferred photo editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop CC). This will result in higher overall optical quality as well.
