The Column Stand with Sliding Arm from Impact offers an effective solution for swiftly and effortlessly moving and adjusting one or more light fixtures around the set without interrupting workflow. Sliding Arm
The spring-loaded brake grip allows the sliding arm to be adjusted with one-handed operation, allowing the arm to be effortlessly placed anywhere along the shaft for perfect light placement.
Reversible Baby Pin
The sliding arm includes a reversible stud that provides dual mounting options, supporting light fixtures that weigh up to 17.6 lb on the arm's 5/8" Baby pin. The reverse end of the pin has a 1/4"-20 threaded stud for mounting accessories such as an LED light, ball head, or other accessories with 1/4"-20 female threads.
7.25' Max Working Height with Removable Extension
The stand is over 7' tall, but that's not too tall for filming in offices with drop ceilings. Don't get caught cutting down a center column or removing tiles from the ceiling. Your lights will have the height you need for great lighting angles, even in low-ceiling offices. By removing the upper column extension, the stand converts to a 3.75' height suitable for children, seated portraits, or other low-angle setups.
Locking Wheels and Leveling Leg
Locking 3" wheels easily roll on most surfaces and may be locked tight once positioned. The incorporated leveling leg prevents the stand from wobbling on uneven surfaces.
Wide Footprint
A 42" wide footprint provides stability for lights and accessories, and the legs may be locked in the folded position for transport and storage.

Can a camera be mounted on this stand, or is there some other type of column stand for that purpose?
Asked by: Linda
If you purchase the Kupo Baby Ball Head Adapter, B&H # KUKG014212, along with a ball head or other tripod head, then yes, you may use a camera with the Impact Column Stand. For a column stand with longer arm for your usage, the Manfrotto Mini Salon 190 Camera Stand, B&H # MA806, or the Arkay 6JR-6 Mono Stand Jr, B&H # AR6JR6, are camera stands that will work for your usage needs.
