Built for schools and adaptable to multiple styles of learning, the 11.6" ProBook x360 11 G5 EE Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Laptop from HP inspires limitless learning. It features a 360° hinge that allows it to flip and fold into four modes—notebook, stand, tent, and tablet—each of which adds a unique dimension to your computing experience. This laptop is powered by a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron N4120 Quad-Core processor, which features a boost speed of up to 2.6 GHz and allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. The 4GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 memory helps to ensure smooth multitasking and allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs.

Its 11.6" BrightView display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and driven by integrated Intel UHD Graphics 600, has a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 400:1 contrast ratio, a brightness of 220 cd/m2, and viewing angles of 45/45/15/35°. The display is also a touchscreen, allowing users to take advantage of the supported multi-touch gestures that are built within Windows 10 Home.

For storage of your files, there is a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD. If you'd like to connect external storage or devices such as optical drives, media card readers, printers, or scanners, the ProBook x360 11 has one USB Type-C port for data transfers and power delivery, plus two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. There is also an HDMI 2.0a port for an external display, and resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz are supported. Connect to the internet via Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and pair compatible wireless peripherals with Bluetooth 5.0 technology to free up USB ports for more important devices. Other integrated features include a user-facing 720p webcam, a world-facing 5MP webcam that is built into the keyboard deck, dual speakers, an integrated mic, and a 3.5mm mic/headphone jack.

HP's ProBook x360 11 G5 EE Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Laptop includes a 45W AC adapter and a 3.3' power cord. It can also be powered using the integrated Long Life 3-cell / 48Wh lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to 16.75 hours before recharging is required, and can be recharged up to 90% in 90 minutes when the system is in off or standby mode. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Home (64-bit).

General Features

Engineered to Keep Pace with Busy Students

Deploy a device that can work if it falls off a desk, is splashed with a soda, or has the power cord compressed. It resists spills and attempts to remove keys, has metal-reinforced corners, and can withstand drops up to 48", which is higher than most desks.

360° Multi-Modal Learning

Let students learn the way they want by typing, touching, writing, capturing, drawing, and reading on one flexible device. Add the optional active HP Pro Pen G1 that has enhanced durability and an all-year battery for precise onscreen interactions.

IT-Friendly Manageability and Security

Get a device with built-in HP-exclusive software that makes it easy to manage and protect on campus and off, even with limited IT resources. And keep students and teachers safe from remote prying eyes with the HP Privacy Camera, which has a physical shutter.

Windows 10 Pro

Smart Menu

After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.

Cortana

Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Laptop, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.

Microsoft Edge

After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.

Windows Store

For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.

Windows Continuum

Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.

Xbox on Windows 10

Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
