It is made of ultra-high-impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a neoprene O-ring and easy-open double-throw latches that seal perfectly. It includes an automatic pressure valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. The case is carried by an overmolded folding rubber handle.

Extremely expensive, lacking in quality

Bought this to upgrade from what my LMB shipped with in its original packaging. Opened this case and was immediately disappointed. The foam is very soft and easily rips and creases. The foam does not fit flush inside this case and there are small gaps all around the corners. There is no plastic reinforcement whatsoever as seen on some of the other Jason Cases products. A Pelican 1550 with foam is $210; you're telling me Jason Cases is up-charging $239 for foam that doesn't even fit flush with the case it was designed for? On top of this, the case is non-refundable and non-returnable. Jason Cases: your design is cool, but your quality-to-price ratio is skewed significantly. Unimpressed and frankly disappointed in a company I thought would do better...
