The streaming encoder features four BNC composite and four unbalanced 2RCA audio inputs. It encodes the input signals into popular file formats such as Adobe Flash, Windows Media, MPEG4, and MPEG2 TS. The internal 1TB SSD has ample room to store your encoded files.
The 9100-4A can encode several streams simultaneously, with each stream configured for a different destination, stream type, and quality. The multi-core processors can pre-process the video before streaming using scaling, cropping, de-interlacing, inverse telecine, and closed-caption features. The built-in web browser interface provides easily accessible control of the unit from a network connection that allows you to start and stop streaming. The unit also allows you to monitor its functions and status using SNMP.
Two USB ports enable you to manage the device as well as transfer data. The front of the unit features a stereo headset jack, a video presence meter, and audio level meters to monitor your streams.
