Great , FULL FEATURED ups network mgmt card

I love these apc network mgmt cards, i have deployed at leaste 10x of them and have never had one fail. The older models the battery for the real time clock was soldered to the PCB, which was a bit annoying, but on the newer ones they made it so that you can easily pull the battery out and replace it. Their case it wasn't a huge deal as you can use NTP to keep the clock up to date when it's on the network. I'm not sure. I'm not sure about some of these complaints regarding security, as its pretty impressive the number of features they've added to these cards and exposed to the user. One thing I would like to see improvement on is the management of the various alerts. there needs to be more grouping for the alerts.

The Card works well, but if you upgrade the firmware, or put the correct firmware on for your type of UPS you will still be able to ping the card but the Web Interface will not work. The fix is to unplug the card and then plug it back in and it should work fine.
