The Tether Tools ONsite D-Tap to USB Type-C PD 90W Adapter is a power adapter that plugs into a D-Tap power source and simultaneously provides up to 108W of power through two discrete USB power ports. The USB Type-C output supports a variety of voltages at 3A and up to 90W, while the USB Type-A output port supports up to 18W. Both ports can be used simultaneously, enabling the unit to provide a maximum of 108W of power. The device is only a power adapter and not a battery, which allows you to travel with it without restriction.

The D-Tap connector allows you to plug it into virtually any battery or device with a D-Tap connector to convert the D-Tap's output to USB-compatible voltage. The device has built-in overvoltage, overtemperature, and short circuit protection. An LED indicator illuminates when the device is plugged into a power source. Using an optional ONsite Car Adapter allows you to power USB devices from your car.

I was struggling to get my D-tap battery to give PD to my new R5C with my existing cables and figured I'd give this adapter a try. It works perfectly and USB PD displays in the corner where it normally shows the battery level. Also when recording I have full autofocus working on my RF glass in 8K/60.

No, on the Tether Tools ONsite D-Tap to USB Type-C PD 90W Adapter, the D-Tap is only an Input and the USB are Outputs. It will not function in reverse.

The Tether Tools ONsite D-Tap to USB Type-C PD 90W Adapter (B&H# TESDAC14) supports these types of electricity: 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A, 20V 4.5A (90W Max), in accordance with standard USB, PD2.0, PD3.0, QC2.0, QC3.0, and BC1.2 protocols. As with all such PD-capable power sources, the decision of the type of electricity to provide is determined by a handshake process with the corresponding charge controllers in the device being powered (or charged) by the adapter.

I tested this with the R5C and my Gripper 100W battery and can confirm it works. USB PD displays in the corner where the battery level is normally, and when recording I have full autofocus working on my RF glass in 8K/60.
