The C-clamp can mount on flat surfaces, such as the edge of a desk or a piece of lumber, as well as curved surfaces such as support rods or stands. The clamping surfaces are covered in an anti-marring material to protect what you are clamping on. By itself, the clamp can support up to 6.6 lb.
