Canon PGI-250/CLI-25 Reviews
Reliable, With Depth of Color

I've never had a problem with these cartridges, and I've been using them for many years. As long as you keep prints out of direct sunlight (which you ought to do for all photographs), the color is as the day it was printed.
Again, a handy choice

As I have said before, color-cartridge-roulette is no bleeping fun, but the reliable availability of options from Canon via B&H takes some of the mental pain out of it. I dare not do big prints without a full set of inks in reserve, and this is one way to do it. The 4-pack is another. Cherry-picking individual colors yet another. All costly. Oh, well.

Are these the Chromalife 100+ inks?
Yes, the color dyes in the CLI-251 cartridges from the Canon PGI-250 & CLI-251 5-Cartridge Value Pack (B&H# CAPGI2505P) are indeed ChromaLife 100+ inks. The PGI-250 black ink is a pigment ink.

Why don't these say Chromalife 100+ anywhere on the box? Are they the old Chromalife inks, not the 100+?
Since 2005 Canon has been making Chromalife inks for it's printers. If these are not Chromalife inks, then what are they? For sure they are NOT Chromalife 100+. But if they are not even Chromalife basic, what ink IS this?

What is the shelf life of these inks, in box, unopened?
I have successfully stored as back-up ink for 6 to 8 months before use with no noticeable ill effects.

question
On average how many photos can I print with this ink
Ive printed a few pictures but mainly done basic word printing and had to replace 3 already. No matter what printer in this class that you get, cartridges are small and will run out ink fast based on your printing demands.

question
Are the ink cartridges refillable?
Unfortunately Its not possible to refill it.
