Ideal for students, hobbyists, enthusiasts, technicians, and professionals, the Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD Digital Microscope is a full-size and full-featured versatile digital microscope built around a 0.3MP digital imaging sensor, capable of capturing color images and videos at 30 fps in up to 8MP interpolated resolution. You can view them on the built-in 4.3" color LCD display or send them to your Windows or Mac computer running the included software suite for capture, display, processing, and saving for later use and examination. The broad magnification range makes it capable of being used in disciplines including circuit board inspection, gem examination, and textile and document restoration all the way to field research into microscopic biological specimens and cellular structures.
To make saving your findings and observations a seamless experience, the LCD module offers an easy-to-use control panel, a microSD memory card slot, and a mini-USB data port. To provide vivid and crisp images, the optics feature an all-glass lens system and an 8-LED illumination array with adjustable brightness. If you can't bring your specimen to your examination table, the head unit can be removed from the base and brought to your specimen. The whole system runs on a built-in Li-ion battery that can keep you going for up to 7 hours; you can also feed it power while you're connected to your computer.
