Available for download, the Overloud Tone Impera Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.
This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Tone King Imperial Amplifier, the 20th Anniversary edition. This amplifier can give you anything from pure clean tone, to a warm crunch, or a mellow lead tone. Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes.
There are 89 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Royer, Neumann, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized, including a Tone King Imperial cabinet with a Celestion Creamback 65 speaker. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.
This expansion library requires either a full installation of Overloud TH-U or one of its editions to operate.
