Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Fend Edge Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.
This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Fender The Edge Deluxe Amp, an amplifier based on the classic '57 Tweed Deluxe. Choptones has modeled this amp multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes.
There are 100 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Grundig, Royer, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized, including cabinets from the combo amp itself voiced with different speakers, such as a Celestion Alnico Blue or a Creamback M65. Many distortion pedals have been modeled, as well as other effects.
This expansion library requires either a full installation of Overloud TH-U or one of its editions to operate.
