Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Fried BE50D Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.
This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Friedman BE-50 Deluxe amplifier, a three-channel, handwired tube amplifier known for its flexible tone. Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes.
You'll find 240 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Royer, Neumann, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized, including a Friedman 4x12 cabinet with multiple speaker variants, as well as Marshall, Mesa Boogie, and Bogner cabs. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.
This expansion library requires either a full installation of Overloud TH-U or one of its editions to operate.
