MakerBot 1XA Performance Extruder for METHOD X

Designed for the Makerbot METHOD X 3D printer, the 1XA Performance Extruder is built to provide high-speed and accurate printing using ABS and ASA plastic materials. It features a 0.4mm diameter nozzle, delivers 200 Newtons of torque with a 19:1 dural-drive gear ratio, and includes smart sensors that detect temperature, materials, and jamming to protect your print. Additionally, its lengthened thermal core helps to ensure a one-minute heat up time. The extruder has a quick-release locking mount for stable printing and quick swapping and has a 1-year life expectancy based on typical usage.
