The dye-sublimation printing process used in DNP photo printers is environmentally friendly. Printing is a dry process with no toxic fumes or chemicals. While a used ink ribbon is landfill waste, the plastic ribbon cores and flanges are recyclable and the DNP paper roll has no core. In addition, the packaging materials used for DNP media (consumables) are recyclable.

What is the difference between Standard and Perforated? Doesn't the printer do strip cutting like the DNP RX1?
The perforation goes in the vertical direction, not the direction the printer cuts. The DNP 4 x 6" Media Set for DP-QW410 Professional Photo Printer is a 4" roll and the printer cuts along the 4 inche edge. If you want 2x6" strips, you would need to get the DNP 4 x 6" Center Perforated Media Set for DP-QW410 Professional Photo Printer. The DNP DS-RX1HS is different in that it uses 6" rolls as opposed to 4" rolls.
