Designed with a small footprint less than one foot wide, the fi-800R Document Scanner from Ricoh fits in small areas while quickly scanning all your important papers and documents. The scanner features a 20-page ADF for holding your documents, and the unit achieves fast scanning speeds of 40 ppm in simplex mode and 80 ipm in duplex mode. Making sure your scans are sharp and detailed, resolution is an impressive 600 dpi, and automatic skew correction ensures reliable and aligned feeding. A return scan feature enables users to scan documents up to 5mm thick, and the unit easily processes passports and ID cards without the need for a carrier sheet. Active separation technology prevents multi-feed errors by applying an optimal amount of pressure to separate documents, and the unit's automatic stacking technology returns your documents back to their original state once scanning is completed.

Included with the fi-800R is a powerful driver and software suite. PaperStream IP is compatible with all ISIS and TWAIN applications, and with this powerful tool you can clean up documents, automatically delete blank pages, rotate documents to their correct orientation, fill in hole punches, correct rough edges on papers, digitally stamp images, and more. Also included is PaperStream Capture, and with this software you can personalize batch icons for easy workflow recognition, organize thumbnails according to scanning batches, and quickly switch between display settings for fast and efficient scanning of multiple jobs.
