They scratch up the tubes very easily. It would take so little to put a coating on it so they wouldn't leave visible gouges on your lights. I can't believe that a company with products as good as Astera would license these cheap pieces of junk.

Truly the best clamp on the market for rigging Astera tubes, especially when used with the Astera Wing Plates. They’re low profile and secure, both required when rigging your expensive tubes over talent on set.
