The black Midland MXTA25 is a 3.5", low-profile ghost antenna that discretely mounts on a wheeled vehicle. It provides 3 dB of gain and doubles the RF signal output, greatly improving long-range communication with your Micromobile two-way radio.
The rugged antenna is capable of withstanding damage from light, incidental contact when you're traveling off the beaten path.
The MXTA25 is compatible with NMO mobile antenna mounts (mount available separately).

Low profile, easy installation and works great. Improves reception and looks cool.
I love Midland products, but this one is horrible, tried using it this weekend in the Mojave desert and nothing, tried listening to the weather station as I'm driving by the NOAA and nothing. I love a couple of miles from our NOAA and I can't get anything. I switched out my antenna for the little one, and it works perfect I can get my weather station in from a few miles away. I can listen to just about everything now. Maybe it's just my antenna that just is malfunctioning but I don't recommend it and not only that I don't like the fact that it scratches up the paint on my vehicles with the mounting bracket that came with it.
