Would it be possible to adapt this to C mount? The focal length is wide enough that it sounds great for C mount super 8mm cameras. Do you have adapters from any of these mount options to C? And would the flange be off?
Asked by: Michael
Unfortunately, we do not have any lens mount adapters designed to connect a lens designed for the Canon EF-M lens mount onto a camera that uses the C-mount lens mount.

Is this lens compatible with Canon EOS 70D? If not, is there an equivalent lens for my camera (DSLR)?
Asked by: Abner
The Venus Optics Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens for Canon EF-M is designed for Canon mirrorless cameras that use the EF-M lens mount, while the Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera uses the larger Canon EF-mount and EF-S lens mount. The above lens would not be compatible for use on the Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera. If you are looking for a circular fisheye lens designed for the EF/EF-S lens mount used on the Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera, I would instead recommend the Lensbaby 5.8mm f/3.5 Circular Fisheye Lens for Canon EF, B&H # LE5835CFC, for your usage needs.

Will this work on a Canon R5? How much of the senaor would be "wasted?"
Asked by: Bruce
The Venus Optics Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens for Canon RF only provides a circular fisheye in the APS-C sized area of the sensor. This would not use any of the larger Full-Frame sensor area of the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera at all.
