Utilizing a 2.2 GHz Intel Pentium D1508 dual-core processor and 8GB of DDR4 RAM, the GSe Pro 208 is configured for smooth performance. Add additional RAM for a total memory capacity of 64GB and connect up to 40 drives using optional expansion units to increase storage via a 12 Gb/s SAS interface. Network connectors on the 208 include two Gigabit and two 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two Gen 2 Type-A ports are also present.

Featuring eight 3.5" SATA III bays and 6TB 7200 rpm drives, this NAS system provides 48TB of raw storage space. Utilizing a 2.2 GHz Intel Pentium D1508 dual-core processor and 8GB of DDR4 RAM, the GSe Pro 208 is configured for smooth performance. Add additional RAM for a total memory capacity of 64GB and connect up to 40 drives using optional expansion units to increase storage via a 12 Gb/s SAS interface. Network connectors on the 208 include two Gigabit and two 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two Gen 2 Type-A ports are also present.

Supporting RAID 0, 1, 3, 4, 5. 6, 10, 30, and 50 modes, this NAS server is designed to provide easy storage options. File-level protocol support includes CIFS/SMB, NFS, AFP, FTP, FXP, and WebDAV. Furthermore, it can support up to 20,000 user accounts, 512 user groups, and 4000 mappable LUNs. In addition to AES encryption and self-encrypting drives, the 208 also incorporates a Kensington Lock slot for securing the enclosure to a permanent fixture. The EonStor GSe Pro 208 NAS Server is compatible with the Windows Server, macOS X, Linux Red Hat, and VMware operating systems.

Easy File Sharing and Storage Management
The GSe Pro Desktop NAS supports cross-platform CIFS, SMD, NFS, AFP, and FTP folder sharing for easier and speedier file access. Streamline your day-to-day operations, such as file storage, backup, sharing, synchronization, and more. Storage management is hassle-free via EonOne, a user-friendly management tool. A setup wizard makes storage configurations like storage provisioning, Snapshot, scheduled backups, and cloud integration more intuitive. Built-in applications such as Proxy, LDAP, Syslog, VPN, and NVR servers offer versatile deployments for SMBs.
High Expandability and Performance
This NAS system offers expandable connectivity options, including 1GbE RJ45, 10GbE RJ45, 10Gb SFP+, 8Gb FC and 16Gb FC. Users can also expand the capacity up to 40 drives via a JB 208 expansion enclosure using the 12 Gb/s SAS interface. Utilizing a dual-core Intel Pentium CPU, the EonStor GSe Pro 208 can meet IOPS- and throughput-demanding applications such as virtualization, database, video editing, backup, and email servers.
Optional Cloud Expansion
The optional EonCloud Gateway connects your NAS system to major cloud storage services such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack Swift, and Alibaba Cloud. Set up Cloud Backup to ensure your data is protected or enable Cloud Cache to speed up cloud file access.
USB 3.1 Gen 2
Doubling the speed of its predecessor, USB 3.1 Gen 2 features a maximum throughput of 10 Gb/s when used with compatible devices and is synonymous with USB 3.2 Gen 2.
