The comfortable vest supports waist sizes between 28 and 60", chest sizes from 38 to 52", and it secures with buckles and hook-and-loop straps. The shock-absorbing arm attaches to the vest and supports up to 22 lb, and can extend to a maximum length of 18". It features a standard 16mm mounting post for the Redking, and 19 and 22mm bushings are also included. The Redking camera stabilizer mounts onto the arm's post and supports a camera rig up to 7.5 lb. It features an adjustable balance system to keep your shots smooth and steady as you run, walk, ride, or climb.
The FLYCAM Galaxy Arm and Vest Stabilizer features a lightweight, foam-padded vest offering a universal fit. The waist size is adjustable between 28 and 60", and the chest size from 38 to 52". This is done with hook-and-loop fastener straps, and the vest is secured with push-fit buckles. Height is also adjustable between the waist and shoulders at the pull of a height-adjustment pin provided on the chest plate. The vest is made of thin aluminum plates and breathable synthetic fabric. All these features ensure a relatively lightweight and comfortable fit.
The vest and arm combined support up to 22 lb and allow you to highly stabilize your shots for extended periods with nearly eliminated stress on the arms and shoulders. The Galaxy Stabilizer enables you to follow your subject in just about any scenario. The shock-absorbing arm has multiple joints of articulation and features a dual-spring design. The joints and springs are what stabilize the load by isolating shake and vibration. Furthermore, the elasticity of the springs is adjustable via a knob for different shooting conditions. The arm securely attaches to the vest on one end and extends out a maximum length of 18". The mounting platform for your load is a 16mm diameter post that supports direct attachment of mechanical gimbals such as the FLYCAM Redking and Glidecam 4000. Additionally, 19 and 22mm bushings are included for compatibility with other gimbals and supports. However, you can also mount motorized gimbals and various other camera supports by incorporating adapters like the GyroVu Universal Stabilizer Arm Post Adapter.
Two sets of tension springs are supplied with the arm for different weight capacities, and they're color-coded on the ends to make them distinguishable from one another. The blue springs are for loads weighing 4.4 to 11 lb, and the red springs are for 11 to 22 lb loads.

By balancing the pan, tilt, and roll axes around a central handle, the FLYCAM Redking allows you to achieve smooth-moving cinematic shots as you follow your subject. It works to stabilize and keep the camera horizontally balanced as you walk, run, climb stairs, and otherwise move about. The Redking supports up to 15 lb loads, so in most cases you can mount your camera along with a matte box, mic, or other accessories you may need for the shot.
The base on the bottom features 16 thin weight plates that can be used or removed to find the ideal counterbalance for your camera load, in order to ensure optimal stabilization. The base can also be expanded in width to further help with counterbalance. And the center post is height-adjustable telescopically, from 21 to 32", for vertical counterbalance.
The Redking features a quick release camera mounting platform and comes with a quick release camera plate so you can attach/remove your camera efficiently. The camera plate is Manfrotto 501 compatible, so you can also efficiently move your camera between the stabilizer and most tripods or other camera supports.
