The Kramer FC-46H2 is a 4K HDR HDMI audio de-embedder perfect for distributing the audio signal from a Blu-ray player to a stereo system or home theater receiver. Additionally, it supports 4K at 60 Hz (4:4:4) resolution for crisp video pass-through to a display.

The FC-46H2 can de-embed from either the HDMI input or the HDMI output ARC, sending the resulting stereo audio simultaneously to the coaxial S/PDIF digital output and the 5-pin terminal block balanced analog audio output. DIP switches allow selection of the three EDID management modes—lock, pass-through, or force 2-channel LPCM.

Controls and LED indicators are clearly laid out on the front panel for simple configuration. The DigiTOOLS enclosure, made of aluminum for sturdiness, features a fanless, convection-cooled design to save space without compromising temperature regulation.

Professional HDMI Audio De-Embedder

De-embeds the audio from HDMI signals with resolution up to 4K at 60Hz (4:4:4) and data rates up to 18 Gb/s (6 Gb/s per graphic channel), supporting HDR and HDCP 2.2/1.4.

Flexible De-Embedding

De-embed the audio from the HDMI input or the HDMI output ARC (Audio Return Channel).

Varied Output Options

De-embedded audio is simultaneously output to an S/PDIF digital output and a 5-pin balanced analog audio output.

Smart EDID Management

Use the DIP switches to select one of the EDID management modes—pass-through, lock, or force 2-channel LPCM.

Kramer re-Klocking and Equalization Technology

Rebuilds the digital signal to travel longer distances.

Convenient Control and Maintenance

Audio Source front-panel button enables local switching to either the HDMI input audio or the HDMI output ARC. Audio source, audio output, and power LED indicators enable easy local maintenance and troubleshooting. Local firmware upgrade via the mini-USB port ensures lasting, field-proven deployment.

Easy Installation

Compact DigTOOLS fanless enclosure for surface mounting or side-by-side mounting of three units (additional units available separately) in a 1 RU rack space with the recommended rack adapter (also available separately).
