The 5" Magic Arm Ball Head with 5/8" Light Stand Socket from CAMVATE features a 1/4"-20 threaded screw on either end and a detachable 5/8" (16mm) light stand socket. Designed to support a monitor, microphone, or other accessory on a standard light stand, each end of the arm features 360° of rotation and 90° of tilt.

Features include an anti-twist 1/4"-20 thread on one end of the light stand socket, large thumb-lever fasteners, and aluminum alloy construction.

Could this support a MacBook Pro on a tilting ...

Could this support a MacBook Pro on a tilting tray fastened to a 5/8" baby pin - 1/4-20 end screwed into a tripod?

While the CAMVATE Magic Arm Ball Head with 5/8" Light Stand Socket could receive the baby pin and the 1/4"-20 end could screw into a 1/4"-20 female thread on a tripod, a Macbook Pro and tray would likely be too heavy for this arm.
