What is the difference between this model and the original spider pro hand strap?
Thank you Sarah - The SpiderPro HS v2 accommodates both DSLR AND flagship Mirrorless camera bodies. The v2 strap also features easier connection to the camera with various adapters to accommodate the different body styles/sizes. The former Pro HS only accommodates the large DSLR bodies and will not fit Mirrorless cameras.

I know this is a bit strange, but I own the Spider Holster. I now have a second camera. I used a Peak Clip for the second camera. It works fine. But now I would like to add a wrist strap and still be able to use my regular camera strap. So can I use the Spider Hand Strap version 2 with a Peak Clip??
Thank you for using Spider Holster Arthur.. The Spider Holster v2 hand strap slot area is designed to attach UNDER our Spider plates and so should work under Peak's QR plate. Please make sure to check on this plate and the connection regularily as an on-going since you are mating two diff. company products. Make sure that the plate does not rotate out or de-threds/disconnect!..

Any idea why Kirk warns against using this between their plates & the camera body?
Thanks for the explanation. I was just curious because I've used your straps between an RRS L plate and a camera body, as well as between a Sunwayfoto L plate and another camera body with no issues whatsoever. Any plans to make a solution that could attach to the strap slots on the bottom of some manufacturer's L plates?

I tried the v1 strap, but it seems large for my mirror less body. Does the v2 strap fit smaller mirrorless cameras better than the v1?
Hi Michelle and thank you.. For smaller Mirrorless bodies, we have our SpiderLIGHT hand strap. This hand strap is thinner and so should fit slightly smaller Mirrorless bodies.

Can I use this with the Peak Design / PGYTECH QR plates instead of the included hardware?
The Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Hand Strap v2 (Graphite) is compatible with the Peak Design plate. From Peak Design, "The Spider Holster v2 hand strap slot area is designed to attach under our Spider plates, and so, it should work under Peak's QR plate. Please make sure to check on this plate and the connection regularly as an ongoing thing since you are mating two different company products. Make sure that the plate does not rotate out or dethread/disconnect."
