Covering a versatile and popular range of focal lengths, the LUMIX S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. from Panasonic is an L-mount telephoto zoom featuring an f/4 constant maximum aperture. A sophisticated optical design is employed, which incorporates a series of aspherical, low dispersion, and high refractive index elements, to control a variety of aberrations, color fringing, and distortion for sharp, clear, well-corrected imagery throughout the zoom range. Complementing the optics is a unique double focus system, which utilizes both a linear motor and a stepping motor, to provide especially fast and precise focusing performance. Additionally, an Optical Image Stabilizer reduces the effects of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting and the lens sports a weather-sealed design for use in harsh conditions.

Telephoto zoom is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, however can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 105-300mm equivalent focal length range.
Constant f/4 maximum aperture maintains consistent illumination throughout the zoom range.
One aspherical element and one ultra-high refractive index element help to minimize distortions and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range in order to maintain edge-to-edge sharpness and illumination.
One ultra extra-low dispersion element and three extra-low dispersion elements greatly reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing in order to produce a high degree of clarity and color accuracy.
A double focus system employs both a linear motor and a stepping motor to deliver impressively fast, precise, and quiet autofocus performance.
Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting, and also supports the Dual I.S. and Dual I.S. 2.0 functions for increased stabilization performance.
Splash, dust, and freezeproof design benefits working in inclement weather conditions down to -14°F.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
Removable rotating tripod collar is included and benefits working with the lens atop a tripod or monopod.

Chiaro Pro 77mm 98-UVATS UV Filter

The Pro 77mm 98-UVATS UV Filter is one of Chiaro’s highest-rated protective UV filters with 98% light transmission. It’s ideal for photographers of all levels who demand high-quality glass and other essential features for excellent image fidelity and construction.

To achieve 98% light transmission, Chiaro uses highly-polished optical glass, multi-coating, and additional advanced elements that improve the filter’s light transmission. A scratch-resistant coating minimizes scratching of the glass and helps assure that water, oil, dust, and fingerprints are removed with a gentle wipe. Its hard-anodized aluminum filter ring is designed to screw on and off effortlessly, and it is thin to prevent vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses. 98% Light Transmission

Resistance Coating
The layers of advanced resistance coating on the filter are designed to resist moderate scratches, and allow you to easily clean your filter. Polished Optical Glass

The lens is both quick and sharp. its effective range is somewhat limited, but in that range it is 100% effective. I've not run into issues with it being an F4, as ISO has almost always been able to compensate without issue.

The Lumix S Pro 70-200mm f/4.0 is an excellent lens from every angle---optically first-rate; relatively small and light for this zoom range, due to its fixed f/4.0 maximum aperture, including internal zooming to boot; very well made; with a handy slip-down ring to switch to manual focusing and reveal its depth-of-field scale; fast autofocus; weather sealing; and given its drastically reduced sale price, it moves from an excellent value for the money to become now a near-irresistible bargain.

Yes, the Panasonic Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. Lens with UV Filter Kit would be compatible for use with both the Panasonic DMW-STC14 Lumix S 1.4x Teleconverter, B&H # PADMWSTC14, and the Panasonic DMW-STC20 Lumix S 2x Teleconverter, B&H # PADMWSTC20. When using a teleconverter on the lens, you would increase the focal length by the multiplication factor of the teleconverter while also losing light from the teleconverter. As such, when using the Panasonic DMW-STC14 Lumix S 1.4x Teleconverter on the Panasonic Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. Lens, the lens would become the equivalent of a 98-280mm f/5.6 lens (with the Micro Four Thirds' 2x crop factor, the full-frame equivalent would be a 196-560mm f/4 lens). With the Panasonic DMW-STC20 Lumix S 2x Teleconverter, the Panasonic Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. Lens would become the equivalent of a 140-400mm f/8 lens (the full-frame equivalent would be a 280-800mm f/8 lens).

No, it does not. The Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F4 OIS lens has rotary internal zooming; the lens does not physically extended when zooming the lens from 70mm to 200mm. The lens is weather-sealed.
