is there a way to control fan speed on the 24" model? also, does the monitor auto detect different resolutions?
Sony PVM-X2400 4K HDR Trimaster High-Grade Picture Monitor (24") The fan is there to protect the display. There is no known way to shut it off. If there is a audio issue, take other steps to ameliorate it. Signals of 1920 x 1080, 3840 × 2160 or 4096 × 2160 are supported.

Does the PVM-X2400 Quad View feature require the 4 incoming HD SDI signals to be genlocked? Or can it display "sync free" quad view without the need for genlocked cameras?
There is no mention in any of the literature for this product that genlocking is not-required for any of the inputs.
