Travel Tripod Tool Kit too easy to lose

This the second time I have lost this tool. It is good quality but too easy to lose. I think this time it fell off somewhere in the field, discovered it missing when I got home. Very irksome. Is there some way to design a firmer clasp or a keeper cable or screw-on tube you can put it in so it doesn't just slip out?
