How high can the mic be mounted with the boom raised? Will the max height of stand + boom extend above 10 feet?
The K&M 21021 Tripod Microphone Stand with Fixed Boom (Black) can extend to a maximum height of 79", and the boom arm is 42" long. With the counterweight on the boom arm, you should be able to bring the mic up to approximately 10 feet high.

Is the 79 height the max height of the straight mic stand, or the max height with the boom extended? I need a boom stand with a tall stand, and then the boom.
79 is the max height of the straight stand portion only.
