Proper balance makes for better handheld operation, and the SHAPE V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate for Canon C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III helps you balance your camera forward and back, as well as left and right. Consisting of the Adapter Plate and Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate, this combination enables centering your camera on the Revolt for proper handholding and left/right positioning for rod-mounted accessories. The adapter plate mounts securely on your camera and then on the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate, which features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws that secure to the Adapter Plate.
Providing support to your camera while protecting its underside from repeated attachment to and removal from tripod plates, the SHAPE Adapter Plate for Canon C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III is designed to mate perfectly with your camera. The plate centers your camera left to right for mounting on tripods or other mounting adapters so matte boxes and other rod-mounted accessories line up correctly when your camera with adapter plate is mounted on a baseplate that features support rods.
The bottom of the adapter plate has five 3/8"-16 and four 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes in a straight line that allow you to adjust the position and balance of your camera forward and back when mounted on a baseplate or directly on a tripod. An included Allen wrench tightens the cap head screws that mount the plate onto your camera. This is for the adapter plate only.
The SHAPE Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate is a lightweight baseplate suitable for use by neophytes and professionals alike. Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the baseplate is made to withstand the rigors of the production day. The shoulder pad allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulder. The top of the baseplate features two rubber strips to protect your camera. It incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching handle accessories. The top of the baseplate features a 3.5"-long slot that enables adjusting your camera's position for balance adjustments.
Front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support you lens accessories in front, and power/monitoring accessories in the rear. An included 3mm Allen Key allows you to adjust the rod clamps, and the rear rod clamp is removable and attaches to the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate by two M4 screws. On the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock plate that is compatible with most VCT baseplates. The V-lock plate has both a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole.
