Enjoy the advantageous of using your camera's original handgrip for support and control of the camera, but also be able to remove it from the body and use it on an extension arm for your comfort while shooting with the SHAPE Remote Extension Handle with Cable for Canon C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III. This articulating extension handle features a coiled cable and enables relocating your camera's handgrip. The arm features ARRI rosettes that allow you to attach it to the camera and attach your handgrip to the arm. The mounting arm uses a locking lever to secure it to your camera or baseplate and it also incorporates the well-known SHAPE push-button release system, which allows you to rotate the handle a full 360° simply by pressing the release button and releasing it to lock the handle in place.

I have a similar Shape handle on an FS5 but am possibly upgrading to a c500. can I purchase and swap out just the hardware on my existing handle attachment end to accommodate the c500? handle?
This product is compatible with the Canon EOS 500 Mark II, we are not aware of how it would work with an FS5.

Is there any difference between this and the C200 ...
Is there any difference between this and the C200 version? Both have the same GR-V1 grip units that attach via a rosette.
The design of the arm of the SHAPE Remote Extension Handle with Cable for Canon C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III is slightly different than the C200 version, but the two are very similar.
