ION L1 Pro Camera
Crafted for the professional in conjunction with the professionals at Leica, the ION L1 Pro utilizes software with semi-auto modes, ISO increments, or EV intervals to help make the aerial camera feel more like a regular camera. The camera is integrated with a 3-axis gimbal that allows for 360° rotation. Coupled with retractable landing gear, you can easily capture unrestricted, flowing panoramic shots. 2-Operator Mode
Get the most out of the Yuneec Typhoon H3 with support for 2-operator mode. With an optional additional controller, one operator can pilot the craft while the other works the camera system.
ST16S Remote Controller
The included ST16S features an Android-based operating system and a built-in 7" touchscreen, which is designed to let you activate functions and adjust settings with just a tap. A 720p HD live stream from the Typhoon H3's gimbal is displayed in real time on the display. The stream can be received from up to one mile away. The screen also shows essential flight telemetry and camera setting options. If needed, the video signal can be transferred to an optional external monitor for others to view.
Flight Modes
A variety of pre-programmed flight modes can be selected to add different cinematic looks to your final footage. Why try to fly painstakingly difficult maneuvers when the Typhoon H3 can fly them with just a tap?
- Follow Me/Watch Me: The hexacopter moves along with the subject in Follow Me, while in Watch Me, the camera is always oriented towards the subject.
- Curve Cable Cam: Plot coordinates ahead of time and then have the drone fly it automatically, all while retaining complete control over the camera system
- Orbit Me: The drone flies around you in a circular flight at a specified distance and altitude, all while the camera remains oriented on a subject
- Journey: Ascends along a linear path and then automatically returns
Data Security
To ensure the security and sensitivity of your captured images and video, Yuneec has designed the Typhoon H3 to use a closed system. This means that all communication is done only between the drone and the ST16S controller, without going through a cloud solution that could potentially compromise your information. All footage and flight data can be saved, deleted, or managed by the operator without restriction.
Flight Safety
As the Typhoon H3 is such a significant investment, Yuneec includes a host of safety solutions to prevent loss or damage. There is a redundant control signal, numerous failsafe functions, and a return home feature. You can even set up and adjust a virtual fence to ensure the drone stays within a specified radius, helping to reduce the chance of flyaways. Other safety features include a 5-rotor mode that lets you fly and land with just 5 rotors if one is damaged. Also, built-in ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles to avoid collisions. Even the battery system has mechanisms to ensure it's properly engaged.
