The SB1-BB Starbird Ballast Shot Bag from Triad-Orbit is a supplementary counterbalance weight for the Starbird SB-1 Studio Boom Stand. It is useful for applications that call for more weight than the Starbird's standard ten-pound counterweight can balance. The SB1-BB is easy to install; just remove the cover from the back of the counterweight and slide the ballast bag inside to increase the counterbalance weight by six pounds. Once installed, it is recommended to check the counterweight bike lock and adjust it as necessary to ensure the counterweight does not move due to the added weight.
