The AW-RP60 Remote Camera Controller from Panasonic offers both serial and IP control for select Panasonic Pro PTZ cameras. Ergonomic features include a 3.5" color LCD screen and an improved GUI that enables you to see all key camera parameters at once. The AW-RP60 supports up to 200 AW-UE150 cameras or up to 100 other compatible PTZ cameras via IP and up to five cameras via RS-422 serial control. Use the AW-RP60 with PoE (Power over Ethernet) for single-cable power and camera control or power the unit via its four-pin XLR DC input.

The Panasonic AW-RP60 Remote Camera Controller is a remote controller is normally used on your LAN in studio. We have not seen scenarios where this remote was being used outside of the studio, but it should be possible. Also, yes it would work with the Panasonic UE40.

With the Panasonic AW-RP60 Remote Camera Controller (B&H# PAAWRP60GJQ) you'll have access to the pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and also the crop features, among others. There is no doubler setting on the control panel but you may find that the zoom and crop functions to be sufficient for your needs.
