How does this background system compare their stee

How does this background system compare their steel spring popup backgrounds in terms of holding the backgrounds smooth and flat? Also, how do the two systems compare in setup & takedown time? Can this frame be used with the support bars in landscape orientation as well?
Asked by: David
The Manfrotto Aluminum Frame Support Kit does keep the backgrounds very tight to reduce wrinkles. And you can use the arm in vertical or horizontal positions on the back.

for an outdoor shoot with 10 to 15 mph winds would you recommend 2 stand kits and 2 25# sandbags?
Asked by: Charles
For 10–15 mph winds, two stands with 25 lb sandbags each can hold the Manfrotto Aluminum Frame Support Kit, but it’s at the minimum safety threshold. We recommend extra weight per stand, an optional third stand, and crew hand‐holding to prevent tipping or wind damage.
