This 6.6 x 6.6" RHOdium Full-Spectrum Hard-Edge Graduated ND Filter from Schneider Optics is typically used to help control exposure when shooting with a dark foreground against a bright background such as when shooting a landscape with a bright sky in the shot. Use this 2-stop filter to darken and control exposure in bright areas of the frame while not affecting darker areas. The hard graduaton is often used with longer lenses, or for shooting scenes with a well defined transition from light to dark. The integrated IR absorption makes the filter suitable for use with digital cameras that do not incorporate an IR cut filter, this helps prevent IR contamination in your image. You can also happily use this filter for shooting images on film or with digital cameras that have a built-in IR cut filter with no ill effect.

How are these piece of glass shipped? I want to know how secured are they when it comes to shipping as I have never seen anyone do an unboxing video on filters like these. I'm afraid it might get broken in transit among other things.
The filter is stored in a Schneider's Padded Filter Pouch.
