Does the RRS L-Plate have a QD socket on the vertical as well as the horizontal arms?
Yes. Both the base and the L-component of this RRS L-plate for the Leica SL2/SL2-S have QD sockets. Please see the third picture in our photo set.

No, Really Right Stuff L-Plate for Leica SL2 and SL2-S is not the correct L bracket for Leica Medium format S TYP 007 camera. Unfortunately Really Right Stuff does not make a dedicated L bracket for your camera. You will need a universal Large L bracket but it will interfere with your battery chamber and cable ports.

The Really Right Stuff L-Bracket Set for Leica SL2 and SL2-S is made up of 2 components. The Base Plate which goes on bottom of the camera. And the L-Component which is the vertical plate on the side of the camera. One has the option to purchase each individually, or get them together as a set. The L-Component is just the vertical side plate without the base plate. The L-Bracket Set has both the Base Plate and the L-Component.

Yes, this has a magnet. As far as we are aware, modern cameras/electronics are typically not influenced/affected by magnets such as these.
