Is the QR plate different than something like the Oben QR-20 / QR030? Are those compatible?
The Arca-Swiss d4 Tripod Head with FlipLock Lever Quick Release (Geared) has a double decker clamp. The bottom section accepts Monoball fix plates. The top clamp accepts Arca plates, like the Oben QR-20 and QR30, so they are compatible. You can also fine tune how wide the clamp opens and closes to better hold onto your Arca type plates if needed. That is by turning a small wheel that is on the bottom of the clamp while the clamp is pressed half way.
