It hold the charge well, but lose a bit when you charge it and hold it unused. I did not expect it to lose a bit right away.

I trust this battery

I trust it to perform and not give me any trouble simply because it's an OEM battery. I once used a Watson battery for my Sony a6000, and the battery eventually swelled. Fortunately, the battery was out of the camera when it swelled, so there was no issue with otherwise having to figure out a way to get it back out of the camera. So, even though this Fujifilm battery is at least double the price of a 3rd party battery, I'll never trust a 3rd party camera battery again.

I shot an hour of 4k on my XT4 and still have half a charge left. Amazing.

It's exactly like the battery that came with my GFX 100s and it seems to perform exactly like it should. Zero complaints

Fuji still has a way to go with batteries

So I have owned a GFX50S for years as well as a number of X cams. In both cases the batteries were utter garbage. Almost like Fuji thought providing power was optional. I have had 8 batteries for my GFX50s, 4 have failed and 2 will only last for around 70 shots at this point. ALL will drain on their own outside the camera which is an issue I don't see out of other brands I have owned - particularly Nikon and Panasonic. I have added a GFX100s and X-T4 to my stable and while these new batteries are a huge improvement compared to the old ones - they really should be judged against the competition versus the old batteries. When you do that you can only conclude that Fuji has a long ways to go. When used with the X-T4 they are acceptable out of the box. They do age fairly quickly. When I first got my X-T4 in November of 2021 I went out to a national wildlife refuge to do some shooting and got most of a day in using three batteries and a grip. By January - I was lucky to be getting 4 hours of shooting in. UGH! Big fail after only about 6,000 shutter actuations and 5ish hours of video. When used with the GFX100S it gets worse - fast. If left in the camera they will drain inside of two weeks. On a busy shooting day they initially held for a few hundred shots. I can't even hit 200 shots on the original battery any more after 6 months. I have had to buy 5 extra batteries to keep up with shooting schedules. I just bought a Z9 and will be switching my XT gear to Nikon going forward. The Fuji 100-400 zoom was such a massive disappointment I felt I had no choice. The batteries - and the X cameras/lenses in general - just aren't good enough as I have started selling more of what I shoot. I am keeping my GFX100S as the image quality is jaw dropping and the range available has to be experienced to be believed, but something tells me I have a lot more batteries in my future. Extremely frustrating.

Yes, one can get the Watson NP-W235 Li-Ion Battery (7.2V, 2250mAh) in lieu of the FUJIFILM NP-W235 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 2200mAh).

In addition to the Fuji XT-4 camera, the Fujifilm NP-W235 battery also works with the recently introduced Fuji GFX 100S camera. But it is not compatible with any of the other commercially available Fuji cameras as of May 2021.
