Use the Explore Scientific APO EDT Series Rack and Pinion Focuser to upgrade your optical tube's focusing system and add precision for your stellar observation or astrophotography sessions. A 10:1 dual focusing mechanism with coarse and fine knobs brings your subject into tack-sharp view. The large-diameter drawtube has a scale etched on the top for repeatability and terminates in a 2" holder outfitted with a compression ring that protects your eyepiece or diagonal's nosepiece from getting damaged by the three thumbscrews that hold it securely in place. Explore Scientific includes a 1.25" reducer adapter, so you can use standard size eyepieces and accessories in the focuser.
