Its illuminated BTR-1 reticle is calibrated for .223/5.56 ammunition with 55-62 grain bullets and has holdover marks out to 500 yards. The reticle sits in the first focal plane, so its aiming points are valid at any magnification.

Will the scope work with standard front sight?
Yes with X-high scope mounts. The scope will co-witness the front post at the 1x setting and blur the bottom view at higher magnification. Works great. Fast and clear sight picture.
