The Rolls PM60 is a compact personal headphone monitoring system with a built-in XLR mic preamp. It can be used to mix a microphone signal with a stereo or mono audio signal and hear them both via headphones—without the need for a bulky mixing board.
The PM60 makes it easier for podcasters, musicians, broadcasters, and presenters to personally control (more me!) how they monitor their performance for home recording, live show, or vlogging applications.
One PM60, a Multitude of Applications
- Use it as a standalone mic preamp with headphone monitoring, great for listening to a mic going to a camera that's not equipped with a headphone out.
- Use it as a mic monitoring headphone amp when overdubbing your performance along with playback audio for home recording applications.
- Use it to hear yourself on stage while listening to the monitor mix in your headphones.
- Use it as a two-channel mixer with mono or stereo line output going to your PA or mixing board.
A Versatile Set of Features for Your Monitoring Needs
- The XLR mic input is equipped with a gain control. It also provides switchable +48V phantom power, allowing you to use both dynamic and condenser microphones.
- The line-level XLR mic output allows you to send your mic signal directly to a mixing board, while bypassing the unit. It also features a ground lift for a cleaner signal without ground-loop noise.
- The 1/4" and 3.5mm inputs for the external line-level audio signal can both be switched between mono and stereo.
- Two level knobs allow you to independently adjust the mic level and the external audio signal for your headphone mix.
- The 1/4" and 3.5mm headphone outputs can also be used as line outputs to a mixer or PA system.
- The unit is powered via the included PS27s power supply.
