I added this extra receiver pack to my order of the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-mix system, as I'm expecting to have an extra session player or two joining my band on stage. See my review for the GXLIEM4 system in general. The sound quality comes close to that of a Shure system that I used to use, and I love that you can add as many additional receiver packs as needed to the system, you just have to share between 4-mixes (which is like having an embarrassment of riches). The earbuds that come with it sound good and get the job done, but it's easy to upgrade those and find some that sound even better. I walked from my basement into my garage and out front of my house without experiencing any dropouts. The volume control is nice, though I found that you could max it out on the pack and still need a bit more volume from the board. Balance it out to work for you. I'm driving a little more volume from our board so that we can make volume adjustments up and down on our packs as needed. These packs are super easy to pair with their GXLIEM systems and so far the battery life has been really good. They do feel a little more flimsy than my old Shure system (plastic build instead of metal) but as long as you take care of them they'll be fine. Very affordable to replace or get an extended warranty if something happens to it. Overall I'm very excited to have this system and my band mates really enjoy being wireless!
